Last year a local car club, JPCCNI, held their first car show at Killard House School, Donaghadee, Northern Ireland which was a successful event to raise funds for the school. The school provides for over 220 pupils who have additional learning needs. Last years show was in aid of the school as they had found out that the extended schools programme budget was being cut by 50% meaning that they weren’t able to fund some extra curricular activities and provide some of their support services. Last year the event managed to raise £1100 for the school.
This year they took on a slightly difference approach with recent events meaning that the event couldn’t take place at the school so they opted for The Junction, Antrim, Northern Ireland to hold a cars & coffee event which allowed everyone to get together while also raising funds for the school.
This years event managed to raise £1125 which combined with the money raised from JPCCNI’s BBQ event means they raised £1533. Another great event held by JPCCNI which raised funds going towards a worthy cause.
